How many times have you felt like you threw in the proverbial towel between the Thanksgiving and end of year holidays? Not this year!
Please join us at the scenic McCook Point Beach and Park on Saturday DECEMBER 8th for a scenic, festive, and fast 5K. By participating, you get to experience more than exercise and fresh Connecticut shoreline air. Walkers welcome!
What began as "Project Brian" soon evolved into the Brian Dagle Foundation with a mission to promote hope and healing for people who are grieving the loss of someone special or struggling with the challenges of life by providing support services, education, and resources to nurture both their physical and emotional needs in Southeastern Connecticut.
Now that mission has expanded to include educating people on suicide prevention and promote awareness of suicide risk factors and warning signs.
In the three years since the inception of the Brian Dagle Foundation we have reached thousands of people with grief support services and suicide prevention and awareness education.
Often, we are asked to present to organizations and speak at community events. These opportunities allow us to share our mission and to reach those who need support services throughout Southeastern Connecticut. We have earned the respect of the mental health community, hospice care facilities and local school systems.
We are pleased to announce that our vision to open a place of comfort and healing and to share our mission and values is coming soon. The Brian Dagle Foundation will be opening a center for loss and healing in Niantic. The East Lyme Community has embraced us since those early days and weeks when our lives were forever changed. It is our hope that the center will provide a safe and welcoming place for the community as we create hope and healing in the hearts of all who need it.
Mark the date and make the commitment … to having fun … being festive … and, most importantly, supporting the foundation.
